Roof edges in the Treasure Valley in January are the worst conditions of the year: frost on north-facing shingles, ice in the gutter line, short daylight, cold hands. Most holiday-lighting injuries happen at removal, not installation, and a slip off a frozen gutter edge is a serious fall.

Pulling frozen strands is how gutters get bent, clips get snapped off, shingle edges get lifted and wire gets stressed at the socket. A strand yanked in the cold usually fails somewhere the following November, and by then nobody remembers why.
Every run comes down in the same order it went up, gets checked as it is coiled, and gets labeled to the section of the house it belongs to. Clips come off with it — nothing is left on your roofline in February. Bulbs that failed during the season get replaced before the strand is put away, not next November on a ladder.
Your strands are stored on our racks, dry and organized by home. Because they are already cut to your rooflines and labeled by section, the second-season install is much faster than the first — no measuring, no cutting, no guessing which run went where.
