Christmas Light Installation in Legacy, Eagle
Legacy homes have tall, articulated front elevations, so the peaks and dormers are where the display either looks sharp or looks improvised.

Lighting Legacy homes
Legacy is characterised by tall front elevations with multiple peaks, dormers and articulated rooflines. There is no single continuous gutter run to work from, so every section is measured and cut individually. Trying to stretch one strand across a stepped roofline is the mistake that produces sagging diagonals.
Lit properly, that complexity is the advantage — a stepped elevation with each peak outlined has far more shape at night than a flat facade ever will.
Below the roof, wrapped columns and a lit wreath on the primary gable pull the display down to eye level. Front-yard trees in Legacy are mid-sized now, which is ideal: big enough to matter, small enough to wrap without a lift on many lots.
Pathway traffic through the neighborhood in December means entry details get looked at closely. Garland at the door and lit planters are small line items that get noticed here.

Legacy questions
- How do you light a stepped roofline cleanly?
- Each section gets its own measured, cut-to-length strand. Nothing is stretched across a step, which is what causes sagging diagonals.
- Should every peak be lit?
- Usually the ones that read from the street. We walk it from the road with you first — some rear or side peaks add cost without adding visible display.
- Do you need a lift on these homes?
- Sometimes for the tallest peaks. We confirm during the walkthrough and include it in the quote.
Services we bring to Legacy
- Rooflines, peaks & gutter linesRoofline lighting is the backbone of almost every display we install: custom-cut strands clipped along your gutters, eaves and peaks so the lines read straight from the street.
- Trees, shrubs & wrapsWrapped trunks, lit canopies and glowing shrub beds give the front of a house depth that a roofline alone cannot — especially on wide or flat lots.
- Wreaths, garland & columnsWreaths, garland and wrapped columns are the detail work that makes an entry feel finished, and they are what photographs best up close.
- RGBW smart-controlled C9 bulbsOur RGBW smart-controlled C9 bulbs give you app-controlled color and patterns on a seasonal display that still comes down and gets stored in January.
