Roofline Christmas Light Installation in Boise & the Treasure Valley

Roofline lighting is the backbone of almost every display we install: custom-cut strands clipped along your gutters, eaves and peaks so the lines read straight from the street.

When people picture professional Christmas lights, they are picturing a clean roofline. It is the single change that makes a house look finished instead of decorated, and it is also the part homeowners should not be doing themselves on an icy December ladder.

We measure every gutter run, eave and peak on your home, then cut strands to those exact lengths before install day. Nothing is doubled back at a corner, nothing droops between clips, and nothing gets stapled or nailed into your fascia.

What a roofline install includes

Every roofline quote covers the whole season, not just the hang. If a section goes dark in the middle of December, you call us and we come back out at no charge.

  • On-site measurement of gutters, eaves, peaks and dormers
  • Commercial-grade C9 or mini LED strands cut to your home
  • Clips matched to your gutter, shingle or tile profile
  • Hidden cord routing and weather-rated connections
  • Timer or smart control setup
  • Season-long service calls at no extra charge
  • January takedown, labeling and off-season storage

Second stories, steep pitches and foothill homes

Plenty of Treasure Valley homes are not a one-ladder job. Foothill houses above Warm Springs, tall pitches in Eagle's river-corridor neighborhoods and two-story builds throughout Meridian need the right reach equipment to be both safe and straight.

We bring our own ladders and lifts, we are licensed, bonded and insured, and we quote reach as part of the job rather than surprising you with it. If a peak genuinely is not worth lighting — because it does not read from the street — we will tell you that too.

Bulb choice on a roofline

Big C9 bulbs give a roofline that classic, spaced-out look, and they carry from farther away — a good fit for wide lots and homes set back from the road. Mini lights read as a continuous line of light and suit homes with detailed trim or shorter frontage.

We also install smart RGBW C9 bulbs, which let one roofline change color from your phone: warm white through the winter, then whatever the next holiday calls for.

Common questions

Do you use my own lights or yours?
Ours. We install commercial-grade LED strands cut to your home, which is why the lines stay tight and the color stays consistent. It also means we can warranty the display all season.
Will the clips damage my gutters or shingles?
No. We use clips matched to your roof and gutter profile, and nothing is stapled, screwed or nailed into fascia or trim.
Can you light the back or sides of the house?
Yes, and quite a few customers do the back for a patio or pool area. It is priced per foot of roofline, so we can quote front-only and full-perimeter side by side.
What happens if a run goes out during the season?
Call us and we come fix it, no charge. Service calls are folded into the routes we already run through the Treasure Valley, so it is usually a day or two.
